When can I see the products available for purchasing?

I announce shop updates here on the website, my social media channels and through my newsletter.

If you sign up for my newsletter you will always be the first one to know when a new drop goes live!

Can I reserve / pre-order a piece?

For most of my pieces it’s first come first serve. Sometimes I will have pieces that can be pre-ordered, those will be announced on my social media pages and through the newsletter.

How often do you launch a collection?

As I’m still in the early days of my ceramics business, you can expect smaller but more frequent drops. Eventually I want to work my way towards larger, less frequent collections. But for now, keep an eye on my socials or sign up for my newsletter. This way you will always be the first to know when new products are listed to the website!

Are your pieces mircowave / dishwasher safe?

No. Most of my pieces have real 24k gold on them, which can absolutely not go in the microwave. These pieces are also not dishwasher safe. For all of my ceramic work I recommend hand washing after each use, as this is the most gentle way to clean them and keeps your handmade ceramics looking brand new.

Will you restock any designs I missed out on?

To keep each collection unique, I will have a very limited stock of each piece. Once a piece is sold out, I can’t guarantee it will be restocked. So if you don’t want to miss out on a specific piece, make sure you sign up for my newsletter. This way you will always be the first to know about a new update!

Will I be charged duties on my package?

If you're outside of the EU, there is a chance you will have to pay some type of fee when you receive your package, so keep this in mind when placing an order. Duties vary from country to country and I’m not held responsible for any possible duties or taxes you might have to pay.

When will my order ship?

After you’ve placed an order it will be shipped out within 3-5 business days. Once shipped you will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking.

When will my order arrive?

Orders within the Netherlands will usually arrive the next day after shipment, with exceptions during the holiday seasons.

Within the European Union there is a general window of 3-7 days.

Outside of the EU, delivery times vary greatly because of customs. Every order will come with a tracking, so if you want to know when to expect your order, always refer back to this. If your order has been on the way for over 6 weeks, please contact me through email so we can look into it.

Returns

What is your return policy?

For prints and apparel I offer a 14 day return window. Any additional shipping costs to return an item are your responsibility. For ceramics I can only accept returns if the package has been unopened and untampered with.

Do you offer exchanges?

No, each piece on my website is unique so I cannot offer exchanges.

What do I do if an item arrived damaged?

I do my best to ensure each ceramic piece is packaged very well to protect it as much as possible during its journey. However, in the rare occasion your order arrives broken, please let me know as soon as possible at orders@studiomeloen.com, with a picture of the damaged parcel attached so we can sort out a solution.
